Questions
I only have a handful of rooms. Do I really need this?
If you're currently checking a notebook, a spreadsheet and a few WhatsApp threads to answer "do we have a room free," that's the exact gap Hostberg closes, regardless of whether that's 3 rooms or 30.
Is this built for guesthouses specifically, or is it a hotel PMS?
Hostberg is deliberately not a hotel PMS. It has no room-type inventory engine and no shift-based front desk model, it's built for an owner-operator running reservations, housekeeping and guest folios themselves, which is how most guesthouses and small B&Bs actually run.
Can my one or two staff members use it too?
Yes, staff roles and permissions are included, so a cleaner can see and update housekeeping status without seeing payment details, for example.
What if we grow past a guesthouse into a small hotel?
The same account scales with you, up to about 30 units. Past hotel scale with shift-based front desks and room-type inventory, that's a different category of product, and we say so plainly on our comparison page.
